Our Vision

We have a vision to make a positive and impactful difference in our community, particularly in the lives of the children in our area. To achieve this, we provide essential guidance and support, helping our young people understand and develop skills that are vital for everyday independent living.

Approach to Our Young People

We employ the best possible approach in caring for our children by responding directly to their needs as individuals. Personalised care packages are provided for each of our children, with their input, as this helps highlight to them that we are all on the same team – working together to empower them to make positive choices for their own success. This approach brings out the best in the children as it gives them the opportunity to take personal responsibility for their future achievements.

Our People

At Harbour Point Care, we are people centered and very intentional about the staff we employ. We take our responsibility of looking after vulnerable children very seriously and so our recruitment process is extremely detailed, as we are particular about finding the right fit of carers for our home’s positive, happy and nurturing culture. We only employ the most capable hands and kind hearts and ensure that our staff are properly trained and equipped to provide quality care and support to the children in our care. We provide continuous training, assessments and benefits for our staff, as this increases motivation and helps improve the quality of care that we deliver, which translates to a better and happier experience for our children.
